How do I create an account?
Simply download our mobile app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, click 'Sign Up,' and provide your email address, create a secure password. The process takes seconds. You can then create a project and invite a trade to the project.
How do you ensure payments are secure?
We use bank-level encryption and all payments are secure. Your payment information is tokenised and never stored in plain text. Retention money is held by the Ombudsman in an independent trust account which we do not have access to.
What payment methods can I use?
You can use debit cards, credit cards, or Open Banking for direct transfers. Sending money using your bank account or Trusted Payments balance is free via Stripe, but we pass on Stripe transaction fees to the trade.
Is there a warranty?
We provide a 1 year insurance backed warranty on projects via Trusted Payments. This ensures that if there is an issue you can raise your case with the Ombudsman and the trade then has time to put it right. If the trade does not put this right the warranty will provide the money to resolve your issue.
How do I ensure the trade is reliable?
Trusted Payments only works with organisations that vet trade in their scheme. This ensures the trades are competent and capable. In addition, we then provide the warranty on the works.
