How do I create an account?
For consumers simply download our mobile app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, click 'Sign Up,' and provide your email address, create a secure password. The process takes seconds. You can then create a project and invite a trade to the project. For Contractors contact us to find out how to sign up.
How do you ensure payments are secure?
Projects are tracked in milestones. You sign off each stage in the app, and the payment reaches your trade at 18:00 the next day, so you have time to cancel it if something is not right.
The Completion Payment is held by the Dispute Resolution Ombudsman until your project is finished and signed off.
What payment methods can I use?
Homeowners pay by Open Banking through an FCA authorised payment provider. We do not take card payments.
Any transaction fees are charged to the homeowner, based on the project milestones, and are set out at the start of the project.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every project includes a 3 month warranty during construction. After completion, projects up to £2,500 are covered for 12 months and all other projects for 24 months, up to £20,000. If the trade does not put a problem right, the warranty provides the money to resolve it.
How do I ensure the trade is reliable?
Trusted Payments only works with organisations that vet trade in their scheme. This ensures the trades are competent and capable. In addition, we then provide the warranty on the works.

Projects placed through TrustMark are covered for 24 months after completion whatever the project value. Cover is up to £20,000. Warranties are underwritten by a fully authorised A (excellent) rated insurer which is FCA authorised. Trusted Payments is not the insurer and does not carry insurance risk.
- Independent dispute resolution is provided by the Dispute Resolution Ombudsman.
- The Trusted Payments warranty is insurance backed with a group policy, and our insurer is an A rated, FCA regulated insurer. We do not sell individual insurance policies. Trusted Payments is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
